Meghan’s Story: “Truth Doesn’t Fear Questioning”

December 15, 2015

Meghan Feir first connected with us through Facebook, when she responded to one of our calls for prayer. We soon learned that she had been listening to Pastor Colin for the past year, finding his teaching insightful, encouraging, and compelling. Through his messages and “The Power of the Open Book,” Meghan found that she was growing nearer to the Lord and understanding the whole of the Bible story more deeply.

Listen to Meghan’s full testimony:

If you’ve ever wondered how to share your gospel-testimony, explaining how you came to know Jesus Christ and Lord and Savior, consider this article from our website, called “How to Share Your Testimony“:

When preparing your testimony, ask yourself, “How do the details of my story ultimately point to God’s bigger story in the gospel of Jesus Christ?”

Bible teacher Nancy Guthrie explains the importance of this in a powerful way:

There are lots of voices out there today who will say that there is power in simply telling your story. To an extent that is true. But our stories alone have little power to inspire or change lives. What is more important is figuring out how to use our stories to tell God’s story.

Read the rest of the article here to learn how to:

  • Share your testimony in two minutes.
  • Share God’s story through your testimony.
  • Share an invitation to faith in Christ.

If Unlocking the Bible has impacted you, would you consider sending us your story or giving a year-end gift to support our 2016 ministry efforts? Every one gift makes an exponential difference!
