For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Maybe you are not yet a believer, but you are feeling the pull of a strong temptation in your life. You’re beginning to think, “I need help. I need deliverance. I need a Savior.” Jesus is the Savior you need.

Or maybe you are at a place where you know you need forgiveness that only God can give. Perhaps you need God’s help to forgive someone who has wronged you and wounded you deeply.

Perhaps you are in need. You need God to give you what you do not have. You need Him to give you your daily bread. Or maybe you have found yourself despairing of this world. “Will it ever change?” You need the hope only Christ and His coming kingdom can bring.

These are the things that you can ask of God. And the asking begins when you come to know God as your Father, through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. As a child of God, you will have more than common grace. You will receive saving grace, and when you fail, God will give you restoring grace.

God will put His Holy Spirit in you, giving you a new love for Him and for others. Because you love Him, you will have a new desire that His name be honored, a new hope in the coming of His kingdom, and a new strength to do His will.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask Him to save you. Ask Him to make you His own, and you will be able to say with all of God’s people,

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
was blind but now I see.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
Tis grace that brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.

Do you know the saving grace of Christ?
